Located near Zhapu Lu. The Evert Bright Theatre was built in 1932 as a single screen cinema. It was designed by architect Charles Henry Gonda. In 1940 a 3D projection system was installed.

During the Japanese occupation the cinema was re-name Knowledge Theatre. In 1949 it was re-named International Theatre.

In 2009 it was multiplexed when 7-screens were added. At the same time it was re-named Stellar International Cineplex.

The price for a ticker is around 40 to 50 RMB
