The 1947 Film Daily Year Book included the “Mo-Kan” Theatre as the only theatre in tiny Arcadia KS, 245 seats.
On Aug. 30, 1947, Boxoffice reported that Paul Fowler sold the “MoKan” to Ray Atkins.
The 1950 Film Daily Year Book included the Arcadia Theatre as the town’s only theater, 200 seats, suggesting that Atkins or his successors renamed the MoKan Theatre.
