The Sunset Theatre was listed in the 1926 edition of Film Daily Yearbook with 300-seats. In the 1931 Edition of Film Daily Yearbook the 180-seat Sunset Theatre had been equipped with a sound system. In the 1936 edition of FDY the 200-seat Sunset Theatre was listed as (Closed) 1941 edition of FDY there was a 200-seat Soap Lake Theatre listed. It was still listed in 1943 and was a ‘Portable’ theatre. By 1950 it was listed with 250 seats and was a permanent theatre. It was still open in 1955, but had closed by 1956.
