S.W. Wood & Son (Leo) launched the silent-era Liberty Theatre on December 18, 1919 with Monroe Salisbury in “Eyes of the World” in downtown Lookeba, Oklahoma. The town had just 240 residents. In 1925, Ray Rosser of the Ranora Theatre in Gracemont purchased both the Binger Theatre and this one to have a portfolio of three theatres. The Liberty Theatre appears to have closed as a silent theatre in 1929.
