Built in 1936, the Roxy Theatre operated continuously until closing in 1995. It was purchased by a non-profit organization in 1997 at which time the theater was completely renovated. The theater was restored as close as possible to it’s original configuration. Seating and projection equipment were brought up to date.
The Roxy Theatre is on the National Register of Historic Places. Currently, the Roxy Theatre runs first-run movies on a weekly basis and hosts a limited number of live events.
