Coliseum Theater

The Coliseum was built in 1928 for W.D. Gross and located on Franklin Street adjacent to the Triangle Building. A 2/8 Kimball organ was installed the same year.

In 1940, the organ was moved to Gross' new 20th Century Theatre (q.v.), which had just opened a year earlier, in the Triangle Building on Front Street. The Coliseum was destroyed by a blaze in the early 40s.
