Located in the North Philadelphia West district at the northwest corner of Ridge Avenue and N. 25th Street. The Ridge Theatre was opened by 1914.By 1919 it was screening last-run movies. It was closed in 1922. It reopened as the Elk Theatre in February 1924. It was closed in summer of 1929 and the marquee read “Closed for repairs to the heating system. It was still closed in 1930 and was converted into a retail store It has since been demolished and housing built on the site.
