The Southerly Sewage Treatment Plant is currently on the site of the former Canal Road All Weather Drive-In. It opened July 25, 1963 with Jack Lemmon in “Days of Wine and Roses” & Bette Davis in “Whatever Happened to Baby Jane”. The single screen drive-in had two indoor theatres.

When this theater opened (late 1960s, I think) it was known as the the Canal Road Indoor/Outdoor Theater because it had an enclosed viewing gallery underneath the projection booth.

The address above is incorrect. The drive in was located across the street. A more accurate address for this theater is 351 Canal Rd, Cleveland, OH 44125. This points directly to the drive in itself. Actually where the screen was located.

Please update.
