The Imperial Theatre opened its doors on October 22, 1913 with an unknown two-reel war film plus special performances by popular tenor Harold Jarvis and pianist Mary Lyon of Detroit.
The Imperial Theatre closed for the final time in late-May 1927.
It went into retail use. In 2022 the building was in use as a fish and chip seafood restaurant.
