The Pine Theatre was built and opened in 1948 as a single screen movie theatre. It was built for the Fermanian family and still operates today as a family run movie theatre. It now operates as an 8-screen theatre. Screen 1:188-seats with 35mm & 70mm projection plus 3D Digital, screen 2:51-seats, screen 3:105-seats, screen 4:65-seats, screen 5:75-seats, screen 6:133-seats, screen 7:133-seats and screen 8:90-seats. Screens 2,3,4,5 also have 3D Digital. All screens have curtains and masking.
It is the site of many Canadian made films and is a bi-lingual cinema screening the best from the USA, Europe and the World.
