The Centre Theatre opened on April 6, 1939 with Richard Dix in “Sky Giant” & James Dunn in “Come Closer Folks”. It was billed as “the Show Place of the Garden City”. It closed in 1962. It was operated by 20th Century Theaters in its later years. Since at least 2007 it has operated as a nightclub named Level.
