The Macco Theatre was located on the West side of Court Square. It was opened in 1925. By 1941 it was operated by Robb & Rowley-United Inc. By 1957 it was operated by Rowley United Theatres Inc. and was closed in 1958.
Since at least 2008 it has operated as Stephens County Store. A nice touch to its cinematic past is a painted mural of Hollywood stars along the length of the exterior wall of the auditorium. Painted on the corner entrance is the names of previous movie theatre that once existed in Magnolia.
