The Tivoli Theatre was located in the Poplar district. It was opened in fall of 1913 and designed by Philadelphia base architectural firm Stuckert & Sloan. New operators took over in 1922 and they installed a pipe organ. In 1925 that instrument was replaced by a Robert-Morton organ. The Tivoli Theatre closed as a silent movie theatre in 1929.

It stood vacant for many years until eventually being demolished and a housing project now stands on the site.
