The original Fox/Globe Theater was destroyed by fire which broke out in the adjacent Dominion/Pioneer Hotel building on July 16, 2005. (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).
A new Globe Theatre was built on the site of the Pioneer Hotel at the corner of N. Broad Street and E. Cedar Street. It was opened around 2008. By early-2024 it was renamed Hollis Cinema 4.
