ABC Cinema

Originally opened on 5th May 1937 as a single screen cinema, it was still a single screen into the 1960’s. The ABC Cinema was later converted to 5-screens. It was under the same ownership as the Darcy Cinema & the Olympia Cinema. The ABC Cinema screened second run films long after their first run release. It was closed on 15th June 2011 and the building still stands boarded up it 2024.
