The La Petite opened at 753 8th Street (now 3575 University Avenue) on November 15, 1906, and renamed The Palace of Pictures on December 14, the same year. It closed in late-1907 for repairs and had reopened by March 8, 1908 as the La Petite No. 4, operated by Mark Hanas with 6 shows a day. It closed or placed its last advertisement on August 19, 1908.
Today, a building at this address is occupied by Back to the Grind Coffee House.
