The theatre entrance is built in a two story building with store fronts on each side. Apartments are located on the second floor of the front of the building. A single floor auditorium seating 482. Located in the downtown section of Bowling Green.

The State has finally been demolished; at this time the lot remains vacant.
There is a building for sale on LoopNet located at 104 W Main, Bowling Green, MO. The building description claims, “Multiple uses over the years include opera house, movie theatre, roller rink, teen town, manufacturing and hardware store”.
Anyone know what the name of this theater was?
