It is now the Morning Star Baptist Church. I have been there several times for weeding receptions and Gospel concerts. The sanctuary/thearte is gorgeous and well kept. The entrace to the building is very deceiving and small. But once inside you are like wow! And it is on Merrick Blvd and about half a block from Linden Blvd.

I think that this movie house was actually in Jamaica.I beleive at that point on Merrick Blvd.the west side of the street was Jamaica and the east side St Albans. The Linden was on the west side.

There are a few movie “ad cards” for a Linden theater located at Merrick Rd and Linden Blvd (which I assume is this theater) on Ebay. Check them out before the link expires.

According to the listing here for the St. Albans Theatre, its address was 19-01 Linden Boulevard.

An older listing shows this theatre at 114-46 Central Avenue. Since you have updated the address to Merrick Road I would assume that the St Akbans theatre would also be Merrick Road now. I show the Linden theatre to be the last of the three theatres mentioned to remain open with a closing date of 1961.

The Linden Theatre was designed by architect Charles Sandblom and first opened in 1932.
