Hegewisch Theatre

This small theater dates to the 1920’s, and is located in the far southeast side neighborhood of Hegewisch on Baltimore Avenue near 133rd Street. It operated into the 1950’s as a movie house, and was afterward used by a fraternal organization, but was sitting vacant by 2004.

The 1945 FDY shows the Hegewisch seating 299.
