The Masonic Theatre was the oldest operating theatre in Virginia until it closed in 1987. It is now operated by the town of Clifton Forge.

Lash LaRue rode his horse down the aisle; Roy Rogers had Trigger on the stage. It is a three story brick building with pilastered facade, cove ceiling lobby and unaltered performance hall with stage and balcony. Built in 1905, live shows are now appearing in the theatre. Restoration of the building was completed in 2009.
