Cinema Theatre opened sometime in the late 1920’s early 1930’s in the heart of downtown Fairborn. Cinema Theatre was leased to Springfield Chakeres Theatres in 1940 with a 15 year lease.
Chakeres opened the Fairborn Theatre at 34 South Broad Street in 1948 and closed Cinema Theatre that year, however continued to rent the space until 1955. The Actor Theatre Ensemble of Ohio is now using the theatre.

The Actors Theatre is open and currently looking for an artistic director. This 100 seat theatre is privately owned and available for musical groups and plays for a modest fee. Upcoming events are posted in the window of the theatre itself. For available dates and for booking info:call(937)878-3353
