The home office for the Cole Theatre was in Rosenberg Texas,Matt Cole Sr. was the President and General Manager.

In 1963, Cole Theaters, headquartered in Rosenberg, TX, operated the Cole in Halletsville, the Lamar in Richmond, the Cole, Twin City, Drive-In and State in Rosenberg, the Palms in Sugarland and the Grand and Sunset Drive-In in Yoakum.

More information: The Cole opened in 1929, and was owned by Mart Cole, who eventually owned a chain of theatres in South Central Texas. It seated 700, and featured Spanish murals, which still exist. More information in this article: http://www.vbmonline.com/features/999-40.html
