The Flamingo opened in 1925, seating nearly 1000, located on 7 Mile Road near Gratiot Avenue. It lasted until the early 50s. The former theater today houses a church.

A Marr & Colton theater organ was installed in the Flamingo Theater in 1925.

The Flamingo Theatre closed in 1952.
