This local.live view offers a pretty good overhead look of the former Waldorf Theatre.

I recall going past this theater in December 1956. It was closed but from the condition of it, not for long. It was not boarded up and all marquee glass was intact. Exterior was clean.

A C/O was issued for a new building at this address on August 16, 1934. Purpose of building: an 826 seat motion picture theater.

This building still stands so the status should be “Closed” and Warren is correct, a restaurant is listed for this address.
