The Green Hills Theatre opened on July 19, 1951 by Crescent Theatres. It was located in Hillsboro Road next to the Green Hills Market. The theatre featured two party rooms and a cry room.
Martin Theatres took over operations of the Green Hills in 1965. The theatre closed in July of 1977 and was demolished in 1978.

You are right about Classy Mike,Green Hills was an upscale part of town in those days.

Two high school friends and I saw “My Fair Lady” at the Green Hills. I attended a number of movies there during high school/college days. Another grand old neighborhood theatre now long gone.
