The Seville Theater opened in 1911 as the Vendome Theater. In 1932 the Vendome closed. The building was vacant for almost three years. In 1935 it re-opened as the Sun Theater. The Sun Theater closed in 1937. Again the building sat vacant, this time for almost four years. In 1941 it became the Seville Theater which lasted until it closed in 1958.
