Opened as a six screen in 1986. Four additional screens added in 1990. Five more screens in 1998 and old screens converted to stadium seating. Digital sound in all. UltraScreen added in 2000. 70x35 foot screen with THX. One additional screen also is THX certified.

This is an adequate modern multiplex, efficient but soulless, run by the Marcus chain. Just another maze of movies and overpriced popcorn topped with imitation butter. Your film is playing, slightly out of focus, in the seventh sticky shoebox down the left hallway…

Haha nice description. Please note that the following construction timetable roughly mirrors Eastgate on the other side of town, besides the obvious lack of an UltraScreen over there.

This theater has been recently remodeled with a new ticket counter, concession stand, and fresh carpeting.
