ROCKLAND, ME — The Village Soup looks back on the practically forgotten Park Theater. Like so many treasures, the Park was torn down almost fifty years ago because of its steep decline post-television.

Warner Theatre celebrates 80 years
TORRINGTON, CT — On the eve of its 80th Birthday, the Register Citizen looks at the history of the Warner Theatre. Many thought its days were numbered 30 years ago when it closed as a movie theater, but it came back big a decade ago after years of restorations.

Fridge Mountain provides temporary theater

Vineland Drive-In still thrives
CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA — Despite everything else going on in Los Angeles, the Vineland is still packing them in as the last drive-in in the county. As a first time visitor last weekend, I can personally attest that there’s still a huge audience for this. Especially in the summer, this is a big family entertainment destination for the area.
