Opened on 3/12/1960. On the 50th anniversity, the drive-in screened the movies “The Picture show man” and “The Man from Snowy River” and also a newsreel taken of Allan Jones when he operated a cinema museum in the Allan Theatre(now Orana Cinemas) in Busselton. There was also a sale of memobrilia from the drive-in(speakers, film reels, etc).
The drive-in was heritage listed by the National Trust in 2007.
Movies on public opening day(18/9/2018) are “A simple favour”, “ Christopher Robin”, “Crazy rich Asians”, and “Searching”.
The gardens site is now a Centrelink and Medicare building and carpark.
