Noticed Athens,Ga. wasn’t on. pretty good size city,maybe i missed it.

Boy, the Motion Picture almanac from 1956,ain’t much of an Almanac,that is what it had.
right,Mpol,guess everything can’t be saved.really wish multi-plexes had never been drawn up.
Good old Union Projectionists a dying breed,sadly.
Parked 150 cars,making it that state’s smallest drive-ins.In 1956 it was owned by Albert Steele.

not alot of twins opened much past 1986.
one of the strangest names for any theatre.no zip.
18 screens what’s to RAVE about, give me a old downtown theatre anyday.WITH ONE SCREEN.
Good history and info provided.Pity it couldn’t be saved,so many small towns lose so many classic theatres.
hope someone SAVED the standee.
Won’t see this in a Stinking 20 plex.
