Where was I at when I was in the Business with ABC,PLITT and GCC,We showed movies even if one person came,Wasn’t that what the Theatre was for,“escape”?Get out of Business if you have to send people home.Sorry,Small town or not no excuse.
Still it is a pity Nashville of all places with the Music World someone didn’t think to save one theatre,Guess Aususta is lucky we have Three,Four if you count the ART/Cinema One on lower Broad St.Glad Nick got YOUR great pictures on.
Do all the 007’s have world premiers in Great Britian,I remember, I think,“THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS” had one with Lady Di and Prince Charles attending.I saw the picture somewhere in a 007 book.Thanks Ian. I love 007.
That is right nice post theatre. I remember the old one on Fort Gordon,Ga, it was white and made of wood. Pretty ugly until they got a new modern one in the late 60’s or early 70’s,Ian.
I have it parking 250 cars,but so often these numbers are almost always off, It was owned by E.G.Creasy,Jr. in 1956.

Larry,Carmike is good at closing theatres.I think they close more than they open.
