A Quebec court has ordered a cinema to pay $10,000 in damages after staff searched patrons' bags and turned up smuggled snacks and birth control pills — and in the process violated their privacy rights.
The incident happened in 2007 when a woman took her two daughters to Cinemas Guzzo in Montreal to watch the film “Shrek the Third,” said CTV Montreal’s Rob Lurie.
Lost Memory, All address has been re-numbered in Montreal in the 1920’s. Gerald, The Festival was in the same building, it later became Ouimetoscope 2 in later years. Most old nickelodeons in Quebec had the word scope at the end of the name.
ABC Southeastern Theatres, Inc. had a Terrace theatre in 1975 according to the International Motion Picture Almanac. In 1990 It is in the Cineplex Odeon listings as Terrace 2

This cinema is now closed as of tonite, May 21st, 2009 when the new Shiloh 14 opened.

It’s now a drugstore. It was a United Amusement/Cinémas Unis theatre.
Cafe Starbuck is on the site just past the elevator for 3PVM. When it opened, it was managed by Nat Taylor’s (co-founder of Cineplex)wife.
There are plans for a Walmart supercentre on the site, which would make it their 4th in Laval.

The mall opened in 1981. AMC closed the cinemas on April 13th, 2008. Southeast Entertainment is planning a new 16-plex for 2009-2010.
