The old Eagle theatre opened or placed its first ad on May 12th, 1908. Ad posted.

Here’s what I found out:

•October 18th, 1921: The Frolic Theatre opened its doors.

•April 19th, 1943: Tragically, it was destroyed by fire.

•November 23rd, 1944: The theatre was rebuilt and reopened, now boasting 1,032 seats.

•April 27th, 1959: Unfortunately, due to declining attendance, the Frolic Theatre closed its curtains.

This opened or first mentioned as the Monarch Theatre on February 17th, 1917 and became the Monarch theatre on August 9th. 1921 grand opening ad posted.
