I was at this complex over the Summer for a car show. It’s truly a city unto itself. Didn’t see the theatres, but that makes it even more complete. You could probably by a condo there, sell your car, and never leave.
They did a nice job of incorporating the old flight tower, (which is kind of short) into the new buildings. Aero related statues, etc. Got a little Stepfordy at the Starbucks, but still plenty going on.
Due to be sold before the Kerasotes purchase by AMC can happen.
Regal Theatres along with the Cantera 30, The Gardens Cinemas at Old Orchard, the Bolingbrook Showplace 12 has taken over this theatre.
This theater is now a Arclight Theater. First time I hear about this chain. It it the 1st one in Illinois. Last time I took a pic of this place, it was an AMC.

What a shame that this place closed. Have any plans been announced regarding its future?
