By 1955 it was a Redwood-Robert Lippert theatre and the car capacity had been increased to 800. Later operated by Mann Theatre and was taken over by Pacific Theatres in 1978. It was twinned in the mid-1970’s and closed in 1980. The drive-in was then razed for an apartment complex.
