1950’s pop culture meets the megaplex generation at Muvico Pompano 18, combining a drive-in theater-inspired decor with stadium seating/digital sound auditoriums. Sidewalks to the entrance resemble paved roads, several vintage cars (or facsimiles) are superimposed above the lobby, and a huge "Muvico Drive-In" signboard serves as a backdrop for the main snack bar, among other enhacements.
Opened September 18, 1998, it replaced UA’s Movies of Pompano 6. AMC took over from Carmike in January 2017.

Carmike is the worst theater chain around after Frank Theaters.
Well run company and theater, but the picture quality at the Pompano theater is poor, washed out. The theater is all digital and for all of the movies, 2D and 3D, the colors look washed out. The whites are off. If you look closely, the left side of screen has a yellow tint to it, and the right side has a red tint to it. Maybe they are using 3D lenses for all movies. In any case, my TV at home looks much better. It’s a shame because I love going to movies, and it is in a great location.

Great theater when it opened. It’s amazing that Frank Theaters didn’t ruin it like they did others.
Don’t think Frank operated this did they? Carmike did after Muvico.
