This theatre opened on February 16, 1990 and presented Petaluma with eight clean and well kept auditoriums including two that were THX approved. The complex was almost identical to Pacific’s Rowland Plaza 8 in nearby Novato, CA. Attendance began suffering when Pacific opened the first stadium seated theatre in the area only miles up the freeway.
Pacific Theatres closed the theatre in 2001. It was demolished in 2004 to make way for a new strip center anchored by Kohl’s.
