Twin suburban strip mall theatre in Gates, to the west of Rochester, NY. Opened November 16, 1973. Opened about the same time as GCC Todd-Mart in Henrietta.
The General Cinema West-Mar was closed March 31, 1988 with “Moving” & “Fatal Attraction”.

November 16th, 1973 grand opening ad in photo section.
The Westmar Plaza Cinema was closed by General Cinema on March 31, 1988 after screenings of “Moving” and “Fatal Attraction.” GCC also closed the discount Todd Mart Cinema that same night.
