Cinemark opened this theatre December 6, 1996 with 16 screens plus an IMAX theatre. All theatres have stadium seating. This theatre is the top grossing movie theatre in the Rochester, NY area. In early-2012 the theatre became all digital.

This location was never a 13 screen. It opened as a 17 screen complex (16 regular screens + one IMAX screen), and it continues to operate as such today.

December 6th, 1996 grand opening ad in photo section. It opened with 16 screens. There was a planned expansion to expand it to 24 screens, instead they added an IMAX. This is the first cinema for Cinemark in New York State.
