This cinema is built in what was the most famous building in hockey with more Stanley Cups won inside it than anywhere else. Events of the 1976 Summer Olympic Games were held here. This cinema’s decor carry an hockey theme.

I didn’t get to the Forum much but I did like the way they maintained “center ice” and made sure you were aware of the building’s heritage. The Forum back then also did some brilliant counter-programing, being the only multiplex in Montreal that offered several screens up to a variety of indie and anime offerings.
UltraAVX screen opened on February 14th, 2013.
Should be renamed to Cinéma Cineplex Forum.
5 screens are closed down on the lower level for VIP Cinemas. https://montreal.ctvnews.ca/new-18-vip-cinema-to-open-at-the-montreal-forum-1.4727272
