The Carmike 8 replaced the Cinema IV after the 1994 fire at the mall. It opened August 2, 1996. It was closed on March 17, 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It reopened later in the year. It was closed permanently July 2021 at the end of its 25-years lease.

August 2nd, 1996 grand opening ad in the photo section. It had two THX auditoriums when it opened.
Now the AMC Classic Logan Valley 8.
AMC closed its Classic Logan Valley 8 along with the rest of its locations for the COVID-19 pandemic in March of 2020. It reopened later in the year. AMC closed the location permanently in July of 2021 at the end of a 25-year lease.
