ENTER THE DRAGON

Located in the Westmount district to the southwest of Montreal city centre. The Art Cinema was opened October 20, 1967. It was renamed Piccadilly Cinema in 1971 and from 1975 until its closure in 1990 it screened adult films. This was a cinema I had visited while skipping school but you didn’t hear that from me. Other nearby cinemas were the Kent, Snowdon, Claremont or Cinema 5, which would be familiar to anyone living in either NDG or Westmount.
