The Casino Theatre opened September 15, 1911, and according to the La Crosse Tribune it had modern ventilating and fire protection systems. The Tribune’s history of La Crosse theatres in 1944 noted it was designed and constructed by A.E. Parker and operated under American Amusement Co.
Later accounts noted it closed in 1929 but according to the Tribune theatre page, it dropped out of the listings in April 1928. The Casino Theatre last appeared in Film Daily Year Book 1929 with 300 seats.
