Located in Wicklow, County Wicklow. Built on the site of the Excelsior Cinema. The Rialto Cinema was opened by March 1942 and had 750 seats and an RCA sound system. It was run by the Clarke family but listed as Rialto Cinema in the Kine Year Books with Waldorf Associated Cinemas shown by the end of the 1960’s. It was still listed in the 1971 edition but its closure date is uncertain. The auditorium was demolished with the frontage now forming the offices of an insurance brokers and the local tourist office. The name Rialto House is positioned over the arch.

Ideal Cinema for March 1942 states that the Rialto was under construction and was an extension of the Excelsior with the old auditorium intended to be a ballroom. Architect for the scheme Norman D. Good.
