Located in Wicklow, County Wicklow. The Excelsior Cinema opened in 1920, a conversion of a grain store, with 350 seats. It was demolished and replaced with the Rialto Cinema in the mid-1940’s.

According to Ideal Cinema for March 1942 the Excelsior was intended to be a ballroom as part of the new Rialto.
