The Plaza Cinema opened on June 17, 1970 with “A Boy Named Charlie Brown”. It was operated by Cinecom Theaters as a single screen theatre. It reopened as Plaza Cinema 1 & 2 on June 15, 1979. Other owners were Y & W Theatres, Kerasotes (in 1988). It closed on September 19, 2002 with Matthew Perry in “Serving Sara” & Jesse Bradford in “Swimfan”.

This opened with 550 seats in the Vincennes Plaza next to a W.T. Grant discount store. It closed on September 19, 2002 with “Serving Sara” and “Swimfan.”
