Grove City Cinema 1,2, 3 multi-screen cinema was opened by Leo Yasenoff on November 12, 1976 with Charlton Heston in “Two Minute Warning”, Lee Marvin in “Shout at the Devil” & Robert Logan in “The Adventures of the Wilderness Family”.
Closed in late-January 1980 and became a SuperX drug store, then later an Ace Hardware store, and now a Pet Supplies Plus store. Rumor has it, this was site of premiere of Arnold Swarznegger film “Pumping Iron”.

This opened on November 12th, 1976. Grand opening ad posted.
The Grove City Cinema 1-2-3 is Central Ohio’s harshest cinema period by history. The cinema received four short closures throughout its first three years of operation. Its fourth closure later became its final closure which is in late-January 1980.
