Cathay Cineplex Downtown East

Opened on 2nd April 2008 at the NTUC Downtown East Resort, the six screen Cathay Cineplex Downtown East is located at E!Hub, a building housing eateries, shops and a family entertainment centre. It also serves as a replacement for the nearby defunct White Sands Cineplex, which ceased operations nine years prior due to low patronage.

In November 2017, all of Cathay Organization’s cinema assets, including this theatre, were sold to MM2 Asia, which retained the Cathay Cineplex branding.
