On March 25, 1983, the theater opened under the name Litchfield 6 Cinemas by Litchfield Theatres.
In 1987, it was acquired by United Artists.
On January 25th, 1991, the theater changed hands again, this time being sold to Regal and renamed Northgate Crossing 6.
In 2005, Carmike Cinemas took over ownership.
Unfortunately, in 2007, the theater closed its doors after the new Northgate cinemas opened.

This actually closed shortly before the Northgate 14 opened in October 2005.
