Located in the south district of Templehof. The 602-seats Mariendorfer Lichtspiele was opened in 1927. The cinema occupies the ground floor of an apartment building. It was designed by architect Paul Uberholz. It was remodeled in 1935 to the plans of architectural firm Fritzsche & Lohbach. By 1942 it had been renamed In 1953 another remodeled was carried out to the plans of architect Andreas Doll when CinemaScope was installed and the seating capacity was increased to 710-seats. It was closed in 1974 and has since been in use as a supermarket.
